We don’t usually make posts like this one but we felt the need to call these trespassing violators out. As our YUMI Fans know, we were closed on Sunday 3/5/23 so obviously we didn’t have any staff on site. While reviewing the activity & footage going on around our stall, our cameras captured not one, but TWO incidents from 3/5/23 where individuals, whom we DO NOT know and DID NOT authorize to enter or use anything from our stall, decided to take the liberty to do just that. Clip 1 & 2: One guy stared at something intensely behind our register for a few seconds and literally walked right into our stall to get a closer look at the object he was staring at. He even poked around objects in our shelves for a few seconds but quickly scurried out when an alarm from a buzzer went off and he noticed someone else walking by that could’ve witnessed him in our stall. He tried to play cool and walk off but he was definitely fixated on something behind our register. Clip 3, 4 & 5: We have a napkin dispenser that’s usually left out on the pickup counter for YUMI customers while the restaurant is open and operating. Since we were closed for the day, we purposefully stowed the dispenser away behind the counter so that it’s obviously not out to be used or accessed. Even so, this other set of individuals decided it would be funny and perfectly acceptable to reach over behind our counter, physically lift up our napkin dispenser and proceed to take napkins out of it— TWICE. Notice how they were looking around and waiting for the area to clear beforehand to make sure no one else would see them. They could’ve easily walked few steps over to the place where they JUST got their food & beverages from for napkins but apparently that would’ve required too much effort from them.
