Yumi 優美 (pronounced: yoo-mee) is the Japanese adjective for graceful, elegant & refined. 

We chose this as our name because we want to showcase the seemingly effortless beauty of using real, fresh and premium ingredients in all that we offer. From our sushi selection to our boba tea, you can expect your order to be as deliciously pleasing to the palate as it is to your eyes. 

We offer a premium selection of sushi, poke bowls, Taiwanese boba tea and Japanese sake.  Customers can enjoy their sake straight up, mixed into their boba tea or as a creative cocktail.

We use the purest & highest quality ingredients to make sure that customers are not only catering to their appetite but also their health.

Specializing in Japanese cuisine & trendy Taiwanese-style boba tea, YUMI is the first restaurant from industry veterans Jessica and Hsiao Shan Chen.

The husband and wife duo are excited to bring together the culinary discoveries from their travels and 20 years of combined experience in the best of Greensboro’s Asian restaurant industry to serve up a premium selection of fresh sushi rolls, poke bowls, sake cocktails and boba tea for all of the Triad to enjoy.
